Borromeo Enrique Henríquez Solorzano, alias Diablito de Hollywood

<p>Diablito is the historical leader of Mara Salvatrucha in El Salvador. He was the main architect behind the creation of the Ranfla Nacional in 2002. He is respected by many gang leaders and his influence transcends borders. His life story embodies the evolution of MS-13 in El Salvador: He was deported from the United States, founded the gang in El Salvador, developed the criminal organization, made deals with politicians of all political stripes, and is now seeing the fall of MS-13. He has spent most of his life in different prisons, yet from captivity he has imposed his leadership through blood while forcing politicians to sit down and negotiate with him. All agreements with Arena, FMLN, and Nuevas Ideas have passed through the filter of his judgment. The U.S. Department of Justice describes him as the “most powerful” leader.</p>
